The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared Coronavirus a global pandemic as the disease continues to spread across the world.
At a press conference in Geneva, Michael Ryan who heads the WHO Emergencies Programme gave credits to Nigeria over its quick response in tackling the virus after confirming its first case.
Ryan stated that Nigeria in a very quick response to the Coronavirus, was able to provide a 100-bed isolation unit within 48 hours of confirming its first coronavirus case, which shows effectiveness in the tackling the virus.
However he also disclosed that around the world, the development of isolation and clinical support is uneven in countries.
