When will Nigeria have a referendum to know if we still want to be one? – FFK asks

Former minister of the Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has categorically stated that it is time for Nigeria to have a referendum to know if we still want to be in one country.

The former minister who made the statement on Friday pointed out that the United Kingdom had a referendum to agree on BREXIT, and Scotland will soon have another referendum to determine if they still want to be part of United Kingdom.

According to FFK, Nigerians should as well be allowed to exercise their right of self-determination and say if they still want to be together or not.

He said: “The UK had a referendum on BREXIT. Scotland will be having a second referendum on whether they wish to remain in the UK. When will we have a referendum of our own in Nigeria? It is time for us to exercise our right of self-determination and get out of this evil contraption.”
