The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in their official report on Sunday evening stated that the tragic explosion which wrecked Abule Ado, Lagos state was caused by ruptured gas cylinders.
NNPC disclosed that the gas cylinders stacked in a gas processing plant located near the corporation’s system 2B Pipeline Right of Way was hit by a truck.
It seems that some people were around the scene when it happened and a lady was able to film the scary moment and captured the gas venting in the area not long before the explosion.
The lady who was filming, didn’t even know what was about to happen and she even thought the gas was coming out from a trailer. Please watch the video below.
