A Nigerian father from Ekiti state has been captured on camera during a dramatic argument were he vehemently refused to let his son who returned from Lagos to enter his house over fears that the son might be infected with Coronavirus.
Lagos which is the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in Nigeria has more than 50% of the 1532 cases in the country.
From the viral video, it was gathered that the father is a retired Road Safety officer. He warned his son to stay back in Lagos till the Coronavirus crisis ends but the son ignored the warnings and traveled all the way from Lagos to Ogun, then to Ekiti state.
So, since he disobeyed the father, the Ekiti dad insisted that the son must be isolated for 14 days and tested before he would allow him into his house.
He added that he doesn’t want to be part of those that will complicate Coronavirus issues in Ekiti state just like the 29-year-old pregnant community health worker who died from Coronavirus after sneaking into Ekiti from Lagos state where she works.
