Nigerian soldiers celebrating Christmas on the battlefield have sent in their own Christmas greetings and some photos which have now gone viral on social media.
The photos, shared on Twitter by Akobi Daddy, a Nigerian soldier fighting insurgents in the north-east, had a message that read: “Merry Christmas from this side..May this season come with a reason to always smile and stay happy.”
The tweet which has been retweeted over 4000 times comes with good will replies from Nigerians.
