Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele, has honoured the invitation to appear before the House of Reps concerning the cash withdrawal policy.
Also, members of the Ad-hoc Committee investigating the new cash withdrawal limit and cash swap policy were also in an executive session on the directive of the Hon. Alhassan Ado-Doguwa.
Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, who is clerk of the House, relayed the message to the Ad-hoc Committee members at 11:53am.
Upon arriving the National Assembly complex, Godwin Emefiele met with the Speaker, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and the Chairman, Hon. Ado-Doguwa.
Mr. Godwin Emefiele reportedly arrived at the rendezvous for the investigative hearing at 11:59am, accompanied by the management team of CBN.
