The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released an update regarding the health status of Professor C.D. Tuluen, Collation Officer of Gboko Local Government Area in Benue State who was shot.
Prof Tuluen was shot on her way to Makurdi with the LGA collated result sheet during the governorship election in the state.
On the update regarding her health status, INEC wrote on the Commission’s twitter handle:
Update: The collation officer for Gboko LGA Benue State, Prof. (Mrs.) C.D TULUEN who was shot at on her way to Makurdi with the LGA collated result sheet is recuperating and responding to treatment.
