Chief Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, wife of the late Biafran warlord, Chief Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu has accused the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano of “always being unavoidably absent” during the memorial lecture of the late Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu.
Mrs. Bianca made this known at the second anniversary of the Biafran warlord Memorial Lecture which held today Monday 4th November 2019 at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam where the Governor was obviously absent.
Recall that in the first anniversary lecture which was held last year at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Igbariam, the Governor, Chief Willie Obiano was absent.
In a statement, during the lecture, Mrs. Bianca said “Take this message to him, As a custodian and a beneficiary of his legacy, it is perplexing to note that each time this memorial lecture comes up, he is unavoidably absent. I want you to assure him that there are no evil spirits here”.
She further spoke on the declining political presence of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) under the present leadership of the Governor. She made mention of the Governor’s attitude towards his benefactors who had helped him in politics. She said, “history will recall him as an Ingrate who stepped on fingers of all the benefactors d**d or alive who held on the ladder for him to ascend to political power”.
The Deputy Governor of Anambra state Dr. Nkem Okeke, who represented the Governor at the event said he would take the message to the Governor but also reminded the public that Gov. Willie Obiano still had two years to attend the event.
