Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has joined the list of Nigerians who have expressed outrage over the use of ‘verbal autopsy’ by the Kano state government.
Governor Ganduje on Monday directed the state Ministry of Health to embark on verbal autopsy to enable them determine the cause of mysterious deaths in the state.
Reacting to the decision, Omokri said:
“The dumbest thing I heard in 2020 is that malaria is to blame for increased deaths in Kano. What is so shameful about #COVID19 that you can’t admit the truth? You do ‘verbal autopsy’ (first time I‘ve heard of that) and blame Malaria. You are not ready for help!“
