Yul Edochie has urged Nollywood film producers to stop making their movies outside of Nigeria.
He went further to say that if these Nigerian actors travel abroad for a shoot, they will start behaving stupidly.
In a post shared on his Instagram account on May 16, he argued that such a narrative only sells Nigerians short.
Edochie mentioned that filmmakers in the Western world would never make movies showing a White man arriving in Africa and becoming a nuisance, instead they will make the white man smarter than all the Africans in the movie.
He also stated that instead, movies should be made about Nigerians going to foreign countries and excelling.
