Taking to her verified Twitter handle, she tweeted:
“Fellow Citizens,
Please do not stop practicing Social Distancing. It is proven to work. All the data from other countries show that it does. We simply cannot afford to have this infection spread among especially the poorer segment of our population where density is a thing.”
As at the time of filling this report, Nigeria has a total number of 65 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed has disclosed that it has been difficult to trace over 4,000 contacts of confirmed cases, raising the anxiety that a possible community explosion is eminent if social distancing is not taken seriously.
