During plenary at the floor of the Senate today, Senator Dino Maleye brought a motion seeking the House to intervene in the matter that led to the rearrest of Political activist, Deji Adeyanju.
Deji had been alleged to have been arrested on a murder charge for which the court has already discharged and acquitted him of.
Dino believes that Deji is being held because of his political activism and association and called on the senate to rise to the occasion to defend Deji’s fundamental human right.
