Saying that God heals every time is a problematic rhetoric – Solomon Buchi tackles Christians

Social commentator and writer, Solomon Buchi has tackled some Christians who berated him to accept his faith to deal with an anxiety disorder he has battled with for years despite being a Christian.

He said he had faith in God and that his faith wasn’t strong enough to trigger God to heal him of his mental struggle.

He shared a post on his X handle that he has battled with the disorder for seven years and has decided to stick to taking his medication.

He added that he begged God for healing but nothing changed concerning his health.

‘’Despite my faith which was certainly bigger than a mustard seed, I felt guilty that maybe my faith wasn’t big enough to trigger God’s healing on me. I felt that maybe my healing was delayed because of my inability to conceive a faith so mighty to expel this mental health struggle. But I’ve learnt to not idolise my faith, and that my faith cannot triumph over God’s sovereignty. Have faith in God to fulfil your heart desires, but have greater faith in God to do whatever He wants.” he wrote

However, some Christians took to his comment section to question his faith in God.

Solomon felt this was inappropriate and went on to ask them why many people were still lying sick in hospitals despite God being a healer.
