The death of a little girl that could be less than 10 years old has caused an outrage following report that she was allegedly beaten to death by her father in Akure, Ondo state yesterday August 21st.
The shocking news of the girls death was shared online by Twitter user, @YemieFASH. According to him, a woman took the girl to the state hospital in Akure but fled with the corpse just after the girl was confirmed dead.
Efforts are currently being made to identify and probably arrest the woman who brought the child to the hospital as some suspect that she might be the one who actually beat the girl and told the doctor that it was the father.
