Some mothers in Abeokuta, Ogun state have been filmed as the marched topless on the highway in what has been described as a ritual to send Coronavirus away.
In a video shared online, the women are seen with only a piece of wrapper tied around their chests. They beat a drum and sang as they prayed against Covid-19.
Instagram user, Soyombo Abayomi who shared the video said the parade is a “sacrifice to send away coronavirus.”
He wrote: “The mothers in abeokuta, Ogun State came out today for sacrifices to send away Corona virus. may God hear their prayers.”

Meanwhile, many Nigerians were not impressed with their action as they slammed the women for not adhering to the rules of social distancing to curb the virus.
