Henry Nwawuba, the Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund (NALTF), on Sunday, July 9 met with the leadership of the House of Representatives.
Nwawuba revealed that the aim of the meeting was to dialogue on the road map of the National Assembly Library Trust Fund, capacity building of Legislators through training, information and research, and the institutional framework of the Fund.
Satisfied with the programs and capacity of the Executive Secretary of the Fund, the HoR Leadership promised to provide the all necessary resources to meet the goals and objectives of Fund.
Reacting, Nwawuba promised to deliver a world class institution that will not only be the pride of the National Assembly, but a referral center for Pan-African Parliaments.
Those in attendance at the dinner included: the Speaker, Rt Hon Takudeen Abbas; the Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu; Majority Leader, Rt Hon Julius Ihonvbere; Deputy Majority Leader, Rt Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims; Chief Whip, Usman Bello Kumo; Deputy Majority Whip, Adewumi Onanuga.
Others present were; Hon Ali Madaki, Deputy Minority Leader; Hon Ali Isa JC, Minority Whip; Hon George Ozodinobi, Deputy Minority Whip.
