The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation has taken care of all medical expenses for popular Nollywood actor John Okafor, otherwise known as Mr. Ibu.
The foundation announced the support on its Facebook page on October 20.
In its Facebook post, the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation said it was delighted to have assisted Mr. John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu, a beloved figure in comedy who has been gracing our screens and bringing joy and laughter to countless homes for the past 40 years.
The foundation added that Mr. Okafor is a one-of-a-kind talent who has brought endless joy and laughter to many people, families and they are pleased to assist him at this time.

“When we learned of his recent health challenges and the financial burdens associated with his medical treatment, we felt a deep sense of responsibility to assist in any way we could. We promptly paid off his entire medical expenses as of Wednesday.
“We encourage everyone who can to come forward and assist in any capacity, whether it’s through financial contributions, moral support, or prayers.
“We wish him a swift and complete recovery.”
