Nigerian woman claims she served Satan for 990 years, Church of Satan responds

Nigerians on Tuesday were confronted with a bizarre story about a Nigerian woman who claimed to have served Satan for 990 years and has written a book which was shared by a Nigerian man known on Twitter as Alex Oluwatobi.

The drama started when Alex Oluwatobi tried to make friends with his new “born again” neighbours by asking what football club they support only for him to receive a Christian book that demonized football and outlined how football is a product of anti-christ.

Alex Oluwatobi tweeted: “My new neighbor seems not to like me, but I greet them anyways. In bid to be a little friendly, I asked their 2 sons yesterday the football club they supports. They smiled, shook their heads & pelted upstairs. Got home this evening, Dad & Mum knocked & gave me this book.”

The book cover sparked reactions as the author, claimes she served Satan for 990 years and during her service, she found out that football is a demonic game.

Joining other Nigerians to react in shock and amusement at the book, UK-based Nigerian comedian, Wale Gates tweeted at the Church of Satan asking what the church thinks of the book. He wrote:

“The small print at the bottom @s8n@ChurchofSatan got anything to say about this? Hope you still pay her pension?” he wrote.

The Church of Satan replied:

Meanwhile, Alex Oluwatobi went on to share screenshots of pages from the book and it spoke about the evils of football and how the devil is using it to draw Christians away from Christ.
