A Catholic church parish in a rural community in Cameroon got a touch of transformation after a Nigerian Senator, Victor Umeh volunteered to erect a new church building for the parish.
It reportedly started two years ago when a Nigerian priest met Senator Victor Umeh to sponsor his pilgrimage to Jerusalem. When the senator saw the pictures of where the priest is working as a missionary, he promised to build a new church house for the parish.
With profound joy, the priest and the entire members of his parish heartily thanked the senator and his family for the construction of a befitting Church House, an imposing colossus St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Nkimichi, Mamfe diocese, South West Region of Cameroon.
