The Executive Secretary of the National Assembly Trust Fund (NALTF), Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba, recently met with Central Bank Governor, Olayemi Cardoso and had an interaction at Santorini Island, Greece, at the weekend.
The meeting between Nwawuba and Cardoso in Santorini has generated interest. Some speculate that a productive exchange of ideas between the officials may lead to a possible collaboration between the National Assembly Trust Fund and the CBN.
Early in May, Nwawuba was among the dignitaries who graced the two-day retreat to strengthen governance and foster collaborative efforts towards economic transformation, organized by the National Assembly, in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS).
