Guinness Book of World Records has honoured Nigerian athlete, Blessing Okagbare as the only athlete to have attended the Athletics Diamond Meetings 67 times, beating Usain Bolt, the previous record holder to achieve the feat.
The sprinter made the announcement in a post she shared via her official social media page on Wednesday.
According to her, the recognition is a dream that turned into reality through God’s grace and determination.
Her words; “A dream made reality through God’s grace and determination. Look what finally came in the mail. Thanks to Guinness book of world records, I am indeed honored, proud and grateful.”
