Nigeria discharges 902 Covid-19 patients, records 150 deaths and 242 New cases

Nigeria has discharged a total of 902 COVID-19 patients who have been successfully treated at different isolation/treatment centres since the outbreak of the deadly disease in the country.

The country has also recorded a total of 150 deaths.

According to the latest update shared by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Nigeria now has a total 4641 confirmed cases after 242 new cases were recorded on Monday, May 11th, 2020. The states that recorded the new cases are seen below.

The NCDC also admitted another computational error which it has corrected.

The agency wrote: “On the 10th of April 2020, we erroneously announced 2 new deaths in Nasarawa.
There was 1 death in Nasarawa reported on the 10th of April.
We apologise to the State Government for this error, & remain committed to providing accurate data”
