The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo is mourning the death of his driver, Mr Yohanna Shankuk who died yesterday in Abuja.
According to the minister, the driver was killed by a vehicle that was making a U-turn at Berger roundabout to avoid the traffic caused by the protest.
#EndSARS protesters blocked the Berger roundabout yesterday as they continued the ongoing protest against police brutality in Nigeria.
While morning the late driver, Keyamo wrote:
“I regret to announce that my driver, Mr. Yohanna Shankuk, died yesterday in Abuja as a result of the protests. A vehicle that saw advancing protesters at Berger roundabout, made a U-turn, took the one-way back and ran over him as he was making his way on foot to my private office“
