Kakah Hajja, the mother of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, has died in Borno state after a brief illness.
Kakah Hajja who reportedly passed on last night will be laid to rest in Maiduguri today.
Buratai lost his father, Alhaji Yusuf Buratai, on 9 February 2018. The senior Buratai was an ex-serviceman and took part in the World War II, by joining the West African Army in 1942.
Tukur Buratai is presently in his native Borno State where he is overseeing Nigeria Military’s effort to defeat Boko Haram terrorists.
