The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has concluded her ward, Local Government and State Congresses in Imo state.
The congresses conducted by the Imo state Congress Committee led by Hon. Ogbonna Uchechukwu as appointed by the National Working Committee of SDP was done under a very harmonious and peaceful atmosphere with a delegation from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) led by Dr. Mrs. Ijeoma that observed the congresses.

The congress which took place at the Ave-Maria main hall, St.Mulumba Catholic Church, Owerri.
The new Imo state SDP chairman, Prince Marshal Okaforanyanwu while thanking the over 450 delegates present at the congress, expressed optimism that SDP will win all elective seats in the forthcoming general elections in Imo state.
