A lecturer of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri has died after he slumped during the wake-keep of his Uncle’s late wife in Mbieri, Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State.
The Lecturer named Iheagwam Burris Ugochukwu had returned to the village for the funeral of his uncle’s late wife before the unfortunate incident happened.
One of his close associates, Ohamadike Emmanuel Best, who took to Facebook to mourn him stated that he was in a ‘jolly’ mood while they were all having a good time during the event before he slumped.

You were have having a jolly good time with us during the wake keeping.
All of a sudden, you slumped and the story changed.
We prayed, went to church, went to the hospital just to make sure you survived but the wicked grip of death was so strong for you to overcome…
