U.S. trained investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has alleged that the televised funeral of late President Buhari’s Chief of staff, Abba Kyari, was actually a caricature.
Recall that Kemi Olunloyo had reported weeks ago that a top cabinet member of President Buhari had died and members of the government was keeping it a secret. She stated then that she wouldn’t mention the name of the deceased for the sake of ‘national security’. Read more here.
While reacting to the viral video of an NCDC official who recklessly dumped his PPE after participating at the funeral of Late Kyari, Kemi warned people to stop sending her the video. She further claimed that the body of the late chief of staff was never moved from Lagos to Abuja but was cremated in Lagos.
The veteran journalist wrote: “Nigerians pls STOP sending me the same footage of a man removing a hazmat suit outside a cemetery. I’m a trained Investigative Journalist. Already told you Mr Kyari was flown to Lagos, died in Ikoyi, cremated. No INFECTED body was moved to Abuja. He’s from Borno #RIPAbbaKyari.”
