Music Executive, Jude Okoye has kept his word by releasing the much-talked about contract embattled Cynthia Morgan claimed that responsible for career wreck, including the dropping of her name.
Cynthia Morgan has stirred a controversy after alleging that lost everything concerning her music career, including her name, ‘Cynthia Morgan’ due to the contract she signed with Northside Entertainment, a Music label owned by Jude Okoye.
The dancehall singer who said she wants to start afresh with a new stage name, Madrina, also alleged that she lost access to her VEVO account, social media accounts and royalties due to the fallout with Northside.
However, while speaking with Instagram blogger and former musician, Jude Okoye dismissed Morgan’s claims, saying he doesn’t have the right to take Cynthia Morgan’s name because it is her birth name.
The music producer also explained that Morgan had always wanted to change her name to ‘Madrina’ and that she has been free since 2017.
Though Okoye denied taking over her Instagram and Twitter accounts, he, however, admitted that he took over her VEVO account, adding that it was a means of recovering over N40m he spent on her.
The music producer cum director further stated that he paid Cynthia Morgan’s house rent, bought her a Range Rover and even gave her money to buy land for her mother in Benin, Edo State.
