The winner of the 2020 edition of Big Brother Naija will be going home with a whooping N85million worth of prizes, organisers of the reality TV show have revealed.
The grand prize, which includes N30m cash prize, a house, a car and others, makes this season’s winning the biggest since the show was launched in 2006, a proof that it gets bigger each year.
According to MultiChoice Nigeria CEO John Ugbe, the fifth season of Big Brother Naija marks a major milestone in the reality TV series.
“We are making this season significant by not only increasing the winnings, but by also implementing other creative and innovative ways to ensure the show lives up to the premium entertainment especially during the current pandemic,” Mr. Ugbe said.
Apart from the N30m cash prize, the winner will get a two-bedroom apartment, an SUV, a trip to Dublin, home appliances, a trip to Dubai, a year’s supply of noodles and a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League final, among others.
Meanwhile, MultiChoice will, in the coming days, reveal other surprises for viewers and fans of the show.
DStv customers who would like to opt out of viewing the show can do so by sending “Smart card number [space] BBOUT” to 30333. While GOtv customers can do same by sending “IUC Number [space] BBOUT” to 30333.
Additionally, customers can activate the parental control option on their DStv and GOtv decoders for viewers younger than 18 years.
