Former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, former First Lady Patience Jonathan were also among the guests in Anambra who bid farewell to Late Chief Anthony Iwenjiora, the father-in-law to former vice president Atiku Abubakar, the 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The former president shared the photos from the funeral as well as the photo of his visit to the Obi of Onitsha. He wrote:
At the funeral ceremony of late Chief Anthony Iwenjiora, father -in the law of H.E @atiku at Onitsha, Anambra State. Chief Iwenjiora lived an industrious and glorious life.I also visited the palace of the Obi of Onitsha.
