Popular actor, Yul Edochie has stated that if he buys a car as a wedding gift for his daughter, he will register it in her name and not that of her husband, in contrast to the advise his father, Pete Edochie has given.
This is coming after his father, Pete Edochie, in a video titled ‘How to propose to your lover,’ opined that if a man buys a car as a gift during his daughter’s wedding, he should register the car in name of his son-in-law, not in the name of his daughter.
He explained that if a man registers a car in name of his daughter, it could break up the marriage with her husband before too long.
However, Yul Edochie shared the video and voiced his disagreement with his father’s opinion.
In his post on Instagram, Yul Edochie said, “Of course Chief is entitled to his opinion. @peteedochie And back then their ways were different.
For me, if I buy a car for my daughter @danielleyuledochie as a wedding gift, I’ll give it to her to register in whatever name she likes. If she asks me to do the registration for her then I’ll register it in HER name.”
