Singer Davido has promised his in-laws that he will give his wife, Chioma, a lifetime assurance.
He also went further to assure them that their daughter would be protected, respected, and connected.
The singer made the pledge to Chioma’s parents while asking for her hand in marriage at their wedding which held in Lagos today, June 25.
‘’Your daughter will be protected, respected, and connected” he promised her parents.

Davido revealed that his wedding wristwatch cost $800,000 (approximately N1.2 billion).
The singer showed off the watch stating “Ain’t no fake watch, mehn. $800,000, man.”
This this came after his earlier claim that Chioma’s engagement ring is worth two to three Rolls Royce, sparking controversy and mixed reactions from fans.
Some netizens praised his wealth, while others criticized his excessive display of wealth.
