Female football legend, Carli Lloyd finally played her last football match for the USA after playing yesterday in the match against South Korea.
Lloyd got the better farewell from her teammates as they rained in goals to defeat the Koreans 6-0.
Supported by her husband, other family members, friends, teammates, a stadium filled with fans and viewers across the world, Carli ended her football playing career in grand style.
For 17 years, Carli played 316 games for the USA, won two World Cups, two Olympic Gold medals, one Olympic Bronze Medal, two World Player of the Year, one World Cup Golden Ball, 1 World Cup Silver Boot, scored 134 goals, 64 assists.
She also won 6 ALGARVE Cups, 4 SHEBELIEVES Cups and 1 Tournament of Nations. How else do we describe a legendary career? Happy retirement, Carli Lloyd!
