A group of youths in Imo state under the aegis of Imo council of Youths took to the streets of Owerri on Saturday to march in solidarity for Governor Hope Uzodinma.
The Supreme court had in January ruled in favour of Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against the Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The ruling had lead to a lot of protests from the PDP and many others who accused the Supreme Court under the leadership of Chief Justice Mohammed Tanko as biased.
The ousted former governor, Emeka Ihedioha also went back to the Supreme court to request a review of the ruling which the Apex court has accepted.
Days ago, PDP women in Imo took to the street to protest the removal of Ihedioha. Today, the Imo Council of Youths are marching in solidary for Uzodinma.
