DELSU Prof. Olisaemeka Chukwuma, has been killed by Gunmen in Delta State, Abraka.
It was gathered that the 56 year old lecturer returned to his home town, Umueji in Asaba, Delta State on Friday evening, Jan. 24, to spend the weekend when the assassins k!lled him in his house.
Prof. Chukuwuma usually returns home every weekend and it appeared the assailants were aware of this.
Friends and colleagues have gone on Facebook to mourn him while calling on the authorities to hunt down his k!llers.
SP Bright Edafe, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the k!lling and said the police are looking into the case with a view to arresting the perpetrators.
