Gov Buni hands over APC to Adamu

The Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Mai Mala Buni, has formally handed over the running of the party to Senator Abdullahi Adamu.

Buni led APC for 21 months following the controversies that the led to removal of former chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

With the official handover, the newly elected National Chairman of the party has now assumed leadership of the party.

The brief handover ceremony, which took place at the National Working Committee (NWC) Hall at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja was witnessed by all the newly elected executive members and Nasarawa Governor, Abdullahi Sule.

The Adamu-led NWC was elected on Saturday at the party’s National Convention in Abuja.
