Doctor Anu Felix, owner of much talked about Lagos cosmetic surgery outfit, MedContour has been arrested and charged to court by the Federal Government over alleged botched surgery.
The controversial cosmetic surgeon was reportedly arrested Federal Competitive and Consumer Protective Commission (FCCPC) at 11:33am on Wednesday for carrying out a botched cosmetic surgery that led to the death of one Mrs Nneka Miriam Barbra Onwuzuligbo among other allegations.
There has been complaints from alleged botched surgery victims including social media influencer, Omotola Taiwo popularly known as @Omohtee12.
It would be recalled that the clinic was sealed by FCCPC in May over alleged lack of professionalism and competence.
This occurred following a complaint from Omohtee12 about a cosmetic surgery that almost took her life.
According to the FCCPC, there was sufficient probable cause to inquire into the consumer protection aspects of the representations and services of Med Contour and its operatives.
This has now led to the arrest and prosecution of the Doctor in which FCCPC is the prosecutor in the case.
