Earlier today, some social media users accused the Feminist Coalition of withdrawing N23m worth of Bitcoin donated for #EndSARS protest and transferring it to another account
Feminist Coalition (Feminist Co) is a group of passionate women advocates who helped make the EndSARS protests organized by sourcing for funds, coordinating protesters, and providing food, security, medical care, legal support and other services for protesters
After the protest ended, for the purpose of accountability, the group released a statement on October 23, 2020, revealing that they received a total N147,855,788.28
Total spent = 60,403,235.00
Total remaining = N87,452,553.28

However, on Friday, March 12, the coalition was also accused of withdrawing N23million worth of Bitcoin and not being transparent about their use of funds.
The group has now responded to the allegation with a statement released on Friday evening. Read their statement below.
