Naira Marley who was alleged of Afrobeats star Mohbad’s death has denied the allegation. He said the public constructed a lie, that he tormented and tortured the late Peace crooner.
An Instagram statement has it that Naira Marley said he never fought the late Nigerian singer.
Mohbad’s mysterious death in Lagos on September 12, 2023, has made Nigerians connect some dots, and link Naira Marley to the incident as a result of their fallout in 2022
Naira Marley on the other hand is agitating that stories are just arising against him, which he knows nothing about just because of Mohbad’s death.
Surprisingly, he said he is ever ready to comply with the police and give them the assistance they need in other to get to the root of the cause of Mohbad’s death.
“I would like to clearly state that I have never fought or attacked Mohbad. For the avoidance of doubt, I have never instructed anyone, friend, known associates or fans to attack, bully or harass Mohbad. With regards to the talent on the label, none of our artists ever fought or mistreated Mohbad,” the statement read.
“Permit me to categorically state that I have no hand in the death of llerioluwa, either directly or indirectly. It is not unusual in the industry, just like in several other industries to have family friction, even amongst blood relatives.”
