After United States overtook China and Italy as the world’s worst-hit country by the raging coronavirus pandemic, President Donald Trump has now reached out to China for alliance.
By Thursday night, the U.S. confirmed 13, 685 new cases, shooting the country to the top of the table with 81,896 cases.
China where the pandemic began in December last year has 81,285 cases and Italy, the worst hit country in Europe has 80, 589 cases.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Trump who had called the coronavirus, Chinese Virus in the past, revealed that he reached out to President Xi of China. From his tweet, it obvious that the virus is no longer Chinese or Wuham virus.
“Just finished a very good conversation with President Xi of China. Discussed in great detail the CoronaVirus that is ravaging large parts of our Planet. China has been through much & has developed a strong understanding of the Virus. We are working closely together. Much respect!” Trump tweeted.
