A community in the ancient town of Mbieri was thrown into confusion after a 45-year-old man hanged himself in the late hours of Monday, April 27th.
According to sources close to the family, the incident happened at Umudafar, Awo Mbieri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo state.
The deceased identified as Osita Ezurike, an indigene of the community was said to have been fed up with the hardship of living and decided to end his life.
Expressiveinfo gathered that the family members invited a traditional herbalist to disentangle him from the rope before his body was brought down. He was buried thereafter on Tuesday morning.
