A man from Birmingham has become only the second ever person on record to have three p3n!ses.
The 78-year-old man donated his body to the University of Birmingham Medical School following his de@th, where students made the startling discovery as they dissected him.
And the man went his whole life without realising he had not one, but three p£nises.
Doctors at the medical school said that one in every five or six million people are born with more than one penis, with there being just over 100 cases of diphallia – having two p£nises – recorded across the world.
But the now-dead 78-year-old is just the second person in history on record to have triphallia – three p£nises.
Doctors found that just one of the three penises were functional, however, with the other two attached within the skin of the scrotal sac, explaining why the man may not have been aware of his extraordinary condition.
The man was around 6ft tall, of a medium to large build and, on first examination, looked to have normal genitalia.
Dissection, however, revealed “two small supernumerary p£nises.”
The primary and secondary penises shared a urethra, which “coursed through the secondary p£nis prior to its passage through the primary p£nis.”
Researchers at the Journal of Medical Case Reports wrote this month: “These penile morphological abnormalities may not have been identified during his life.
“However, he may have lived with functional deficits due to the abnormal anatomy of the region, which may include urinary tract infections, erectile dysfunction or fertility issues.”
They also noted that the only other recorded case of triphallia came in 2020, when a three-month-old anonymous baby was discovered to have the condition.
They too wrote that polyphallia – having multiple p£nises – is likely to be more common than realised.
