The Supreme Court has ruled on the appeal filed by Timi Alaibe, a governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 election, challenging the candidacy of Governor Duoye Diri.
Alaibe is insisting that Governor Diri is not the authentic candidate of the PDP.
The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal on the ground that it was a pre-election matter.
