Senator Smart Adeyemi has taken over Senator Dino Melaye’s seat as he was on Wednesday sworn-in as the lawmaker representing Kogi West at the Red Chamber.
Adeyemi was declared the winner of the just-concluded rerun in the constituency by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The news of the swearing-in was shared on the verified Twitter handle of the Senate on Wednesday morning.
