The media aide of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, a former governor of Oyo State, has debunked rumour of his death.
Not long ago, there were reports claiming that Ajimobi died today in Lagos state after testing positive for coronavirus. He was previously on coma but was reported to have left coma in the past few days.
He was said to have succumbed to the dreaded Coronavirus infection, made worse by his underlining health conditions.
Taking to social media, Ajimobi’s media aide, Bolaji Tunji announced that the death reports should be disregarded. However, he enjoined everyone to keep praying for the former governor who is still critical condition battling Covid-19.
Ajimobi is currently the acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), recognised by the National Working Committee.
