The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has directed civil servants in the state to stay at home for 14 days as part of the precautionary measures put in place to curtail the spread of the Coronavirus.
The governor stated this on Sunday during a statewide address on the Coronavirus pandemic in the state after new cases were recorded.
According to the governor, the directive applied to workers on level one to 12.
The governor also directed all those who have just returned from foreign trips to ensure they self-isolate for 14 days to be sure that they are free of the virus.
He also reiterated that all measures are being put in place to curb the spread of the virus, while urging residents to maintain the social distancing culture.
