The immediate past President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, on Wednesday evening, escaped death after their convoy was involved in an accident in Abuja.
Unfortunately, two of his aides lost their lives, Leadership reports.
Some members of his team were critically injured and rushed to the hospital.
One of his aides was quoted as saying that the former president was fine and back home.
The accident reportedly happened while Jonathan and his wife were on their way from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to their residence in Abuja.
