A governorship candidate in Bayelsa, Vijar Eldred Opuama has filled a fresh petition seeking to disqualify the newly sworn-in Deputy Governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Lawrence O. Ewhrudjakpo.
According to a report from NaijaliveTV, the petition seeks to disqualify Ewhrudjakpo on the grounds that he allegedly provided false information to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the November 16th governorship election in the state.
