The Emir of Kajuru, Alhaji Alhassan Adamu has been abducted at his residence in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna state by armed bandits.
According reports, the bandits also abducted 12 other family members of the emir including women and children.
Security operatives later raid Remon village, arrest over 100 suspects in connection to the incident.
The grandson of the emir and traditional title holder of Dan Kajuru, Saidu Musa confirmed the abduction and said the incident happened around 12:30 am.
The state government and police command are yet to speak on the incident as at the time of filing this report.
