The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria has now risen to 65, after the NCDC confirmed 14 new cases of the virus.
The coronavirus is an ongoing global pandemic, which is responsible for the death of over 23,000, with over 510,000 people also reported to have been infected by the virus.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) tonight confirmed 14 new cases of the virus, revealing that two were in Abuja, while there were 12 confirmed in Lagos.
The NCDC wrote on Twitter;
“14 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 2 in FCT, 12 in Lagos
“Of the 14, 6 were detected on a vessel, 3 are returning travellers into Nigeria & 1 is close contact of a confirmed case
As at 7:35 pm 26th March, there are
65 confirmed cases
3 discharged
1 death”
